ARTICLE I: THE OBLIGATION OF THE DECLARATION

1.1 The Prerequisite of Entry

Access to the Metabolic Grid, the Caretaker Commons, and all worker guild dashboards is strictly contingent upon your continuous affirmation of the Declaration of Common Heritage.

1.2 Core Pledges

By clicking "I Affirm," you explicitly bind your actions to the following foundational truths:

  • Stewardship Over Ownership: You renounce all claims to the private ownership or commercial enclosure of the Earth's natural resources, accepting your role as a temporary caretaker of a shared trust.
  • Acknowledgement of Historical Justice: You affirm that capitalism began with the violent privatisation of land and the systematic displacement of Indigenous peoples. You pledge that your collective labour will actively seek decolonial repair and historical truth.
  • The Democratic Imperative: You agree to actively participate in direct democracy, using your portal interface to vote in referendums and audit the code weights of the AI Advisor, ensuring the machine remains permanently subordinate to human empathy.

ARTICLE II: LABOR INPUT, WALLETS, AND THE THERMODYNAMIC DECAY

2.1 Voluntary Contribution

Your participation in the Caretaker Guilds is entirely voluntary. Survival resources are permanently decoupled from the market and unconditionally guaranteed to you at the baseline Bronze Tier (0 pts).

2.2 Point Minting and Tracking

When you log hours on the community work boards, your generated points are concurrently split into two distinct, un-falsifiable ledgers:

  • The Liquid Wallet (Spendable): Used directly to redeem Silver (200 pts) or Gold (400 pts) Cards to access transient luxury tiers.
  • The Retirement Ledger (Locked): A lifetime tracker that never decreases, building toward your permanent luxury retirement target (6,000 points individually, or 9,000 points for married couples).

2.3 The Rule of Thermodynamic Decay (Demurrage)

To prevent points from behaving like legacy fiat currency and creating artificial class divides, all unspent points inside your Liquid Wallet are subject to Thermodynamic Decay.

  • Any spendable point that crosses its 24-month expiration threshold without being locked into a Silver or Gold card will enter a rapid linear decay curve.
  • It will lose exactly 33.3% of its original value every 30 days, hitting absolute zero by day 90 post-expiration. Hoarding purchasing power is structurally impossible within this interface.

ARTICLE III: PRODUCT STEWARDSHIP AND THE LUXURY LIFECYCLE

3.1 Digital Product Passports (DPPs)

Every physical item you request or check out through this portal contains an embedded, open-source Digital Product Passport (DPP). This passport tracks the item’s accumulated carbon history, repair logs, and its exact stewardship lineage.

3.2 The 3-Month Grace Period and Vault Storage

Luxury status cards grant access to premium housing and artisanal items for a fixed period of 2 years.

  • Upon the expiration of a Gold Card, you are granted a mandatory 90-day Grace Period to produce a new card through ongoing guild contributions.

ARTICLE IV: ACCOUNTABILITY AND REPUTATION METRICS

4.1 The Social Credit Engine

To manage booking bottlenecks at high-demand luxury venues fairly under a strict ecological cap, this portal calculates your real-time Social Credit Score (SCS) using the two-pillar formula:

4.2 Behaviour and Character Drift

  • Stewardship Validations (+10 to +30 SR): Granted automatically when you return shared assets in immaculate condition or volunteer for unclaimed community tasks.
  • Minor Violations (-20 SR): Enforced instantly if you fail to clean a luxury villa’s automated kitchen before a deadline, waste agricultural luxury yields, or neglect a committed infrastructure shift.
  • Systemic Violations (-100+ SR): Triggered by intentional sabotage, antisocial malice, or causing physical harm. A systemic violation causes an absolute collapse of your SR meter, instantly stripping you of priority ranks and luxury venue booking access.

4.3 The Right of Algorithmic Appeal

You are protected against cold technocracy. If you believe your CV or SR scores have been miscalculated by the ledger, you hold the absolute constitutional right to freeze your data profile and demand an open, data-transparent review before a randomised Citizen Jury.

ARTICLE V: REVOCATION AND EXIT

You retain absolute self-sovereignty. You may choose to exit the parallel society at any time. By doing so, you revoke your cryptographic affirmation of the Covenant. Your digital pass will be deactivated, your personal identity will be unlinked from the ledger, and your historical labour metrics will be permanently anonymised into the collective contribution archive.
