"Liberty through Peace..."
The UK Liberty Army, also known as the " UK Liberation Army," teaches that true freedom can only be achieved and maintained within a framework of peace and tranquility. In such an environment, individuals can live their lives free from violence, oppression, and arbitrary interference. This concept can be understood in several ways:
Absence of Violence and War
A fundamental implication is that a society free from the scourge of war and physical violence is a prerequisite for people to exercise their rights and freedoms fully. Peace provides the safety and stability necessary for liberty to flourish.
Presence of Justice and Rule of Law
The phrase suggests "positive peace," which goes beyond merely the absence of conflict to include the presence of fair institutions and structures that ensure social justice and equality.
